You are a LEADER
You’ve had the courage to start something big, move into an exciting new role, and you want a mentor to help you hit it out of the park, help you see the blind spots that can get in the way, and not lose yourself in the process.
or maybe…
health, happiness, and relationships have taken a backseat to accomplishment, or
you’re feeling the loneliness of leadership, craving more connection and wanting to be seen, but the path to get there is clouded by fear, uncertainty, or overwhelm.
You are a LEARNER
You’re at a crossroads in your professional or personal life and no amount of hard work seems to be enough to create the change you want. You’ve tried lots of things, but you find yourself back in the same place again, feeling those familiar niggling questions that seem to steal all your motivation. But the flame of curiosity and hope is still there, and you’re ready to get to the root cause of what’s getting in your way.
or maybe…
you just think it would be kind of amazing to learn more about how your nervous system works, the neuroscience of changing lifelong patterns, or how welcoming emotions makes us better decision makers.
You are a LOVER OF LIFE
You are giving all you have to your work and/or your family, but it feels like you have nothing left for you. Deep down, you want nothing more than to find a way to love yourself, get back in touch with a feeling of aliveness, and reignite feelings of wonder and possibility.
or maybe…
there’s this little voice inside that you are ready to follow. It’s calling you to do the thing - the thing that just feels right, but may be really scary too. You’re not sure how to get there, or if you’re nuts for even thinking about it. But, wow, it would feel really good to go for it, and to have the support and guidance to make it happen.

Some clients crave safe and loving support to move through something big in their life, or to get unstuck. Other clients are eager to jumpstart a thrilling new chapter in their lives.
During a coaching intensive we'll spend several days together in the beautiful mountain valley where I live, near Aspen, Colorado. During a custom-designed intensive, we'll have the opportunity to dive deep, surrounded by the peace and natural beauty of the mountains and rivers. We might have conversations on my porch overlooking the creek, on the trail, or on the chairlift. And some clients might get to have a unique and profound experience with our healing herd of horses at Blue Sky Ranch, which we call home.
Coaching intensives include online coaching sessions before and after to help you prepare for our time together and to integrate your new ways of thinking and being into your daily life.
Most clients choose to work with me for a season of change - typically a 6- or 12-month engagement. While insights and changes may happen very quickly, working together over this period of time, or longer, allows for ample opportunities to experiment with, practice and embed new learnings into your life. We'll have the time to unwind old patterns, explore different dimensions of your self, benefit from communities of support, and reflect on (and celebrate!) growth and change.
Some clients have a focused and time-bound reason for wanting coaching in their lives. A new role, a consequential decision, a sudden change in life circumstance. These engagements, which are typically arranged on a month-by-month basis, are focused on tapping into this reason as an opportunity for rich self-discovery.
As a transformational coach, my job is to help you experience your own innate wisdom, clarity, and peace of mind, and to learn how to access those gifts reliably as a source of guidance and direction.
Traditional coaching tends to be more directive, with coaches providing solutions and strategies. It is more prescriptive in nature.
As a transformational coach, I welcome challenges, obstacles, setbacks, and confusion as natural and normal. Often these experiences of challenge offer a doorway into deeper understanding and insight when we embrace them instead of resisting them.
In traditional coaching, challenges are often seen as obstacles to be overcome to reach the desired outcome. The focus is on problem-solving and finding solutions.
As a transformational coach, I act as a facilitator and guide, encouraging your development of greater self-awareness and self-discovery, and helping you to uncover your own answers and insights.
Traditional coaches typically provide guidance, feedback, and accountability to help clients achieve specific goals. They typically act as mentors and advisors.
As a transformational coach, our work together tends to be more long-term, as it deals with deeper personal transformation. While major shifts can be experienced very quickly, I aim to help my clients with sustainable and enduring change, which can take more time.
Traditional coaching is often associated with shorter-term engagements focused on achieving immediate or short-term objectives. It may involve skills development, performance improvement, or problem-solving within a limited time frame.
As a transformational coach, I support you to move beyond your limiting beliefs, values, and mindset. You can anticipate profound shifts in these areas, which can lead to more sustainable and holistic personal growth.
Traditional coaching tends to be more task-oriented and outcome-driven. Coaches work with clients to identify obstacles, set objectives, and develop strategies.
As a transformational coach, I focus more on your personal growth and self-discovery. While goals may still be part of the process, the primary objective is to facilitate deeper and lasting change in your beliefs, values, identity, and sense of possibility.
Traditional coaching focuses on achieving specific, measurable goals. It often involves setting objectives, creating action plans, and working toward achieving those goals.
Transformational coaching and traditional coaching are different approaches to personal and professional development. Here are the primary differences so you can choose the right type of coaching for you:
I aim to give you many times the value of what you pay for coaching with me. Many of the changes you might experience during and after coaching with me might be hard to quantify.
My previous clients have a hard time putting a price on finally finding peace of mind, sleeping again, making the best decisions of their lives, saving their marriage, feeling true to themselves, and the freedom of stepping out of lifelong patterns.
Life coaching is an investment in yourself. And I hope you feel that you are worth investing in.
